Documenting a First Edition Exhibition with Scale, Structure, and Future Intent

Context

G-Floor Expo was a focused B2B flooring exhibition and its first edition, organised by HITEX at the HITEX Exhibition Centre, Hyderabad.

As a first edition, the objective was not just coverage. The documentation needed to establish credibility, reflect scale, and serve as a strong visual foundation for future editions.

The Global Flooring Solutions Expo brought together stakeholders from flooring, construction, and infrastructure, creating a dedicated platform for manufacturers, suppliers, consultants, and buyers.

With over 70 exhibitors and more than 5000 visitors, the event had strong participation and meaningful business interactions.

For a first-time show, how it is documented plays a critical role in how the next edition is perceived.

Objective

To capture the exhibition in a way that reflects its scale, energy, and industry relevance, while creating content that can be used by organisers for future promotions, marketing, and stakeholder communication.

The focus was on building a visual identity for the expo from day one.

Impact

The Day 1 highlight video crossed over 6 million views, driven organically and supported by paid promotion, helping increase visibility and footfall for the following days.

The continuous release of content during the event kept the exhibition active across digital platforms.

Organisers were able to immediately use visuals for media, press coverage, and marketing.

The final content created a strong visual base for positioning future editions of the expo.
